Eco-Workshops & Intensives

Learning Sustainable Living Through Real Systems

Life Abounds Farm-Based Eco-Workshops and Eco-Intensives are hands-on educational experiences designed to help people understand how sustainable living actually works in practice.

These offerings take place on a working farm, where food, land, animals, and daily systems are managed year-round. Participants learn by observing, participating, and asking practical questions—not by listening to theory or being entertained.

The goal is understanding how real systems function so participants can make informed, realistic choices in their own lives.

What These Offerings Are

Eco-Workshops

Eco-Workshops are hands-on, topic-based learning experiences focused on practical skills for greener, more natural living. Each workshop centers on a specific subject and can include sessions such as food preservation, natural products, gardening, or land-based skills—and offers clear instruction, demonstration, and guided participation.

These workshops are designed for those who want to learn a specific skill, gain confidence, and walk away with practical knowledge they can use right away.

Eco-Intensives

Eco-Intensives are deeper, nature-connected experiences that complement the Sustainable Lifestyle Transition coaching program. Rather than focusing on a single skill, intensives emphasize slowing down, observing, and reconnecting with natural rhythms through time spent on the land.

These experiences are reflective, immersive, and intentional, supporting personal awareness, grounded decision-making, and a deeper relationship with nature as part of a larger lifestyle transition.

How the Workshops Are Structured

A typical workshop includes:

  • Observation of working systems

  • Clear explanation and instruction

  • Hands-on participation where appropriate

  • Time to connect what is learned to everyday life

There is no expectation of emotional sharing or group processing. Learning happens through doing, watching, and understanding.

How Eco Intensives Fit with Other Offerings

Some participants attend an Eco-Workshop to gain hands-on understanding and later use coaching to apply what they learned at home. Others begin with coaching and attend an Eco-Intensive to deepen their learning.

These offerings also naturally connect with the everyday products offered through Life Abounds Naturals.
